Every struggle has beauty. Despite the pain, rejections and barriers I still show up to hold space for myself. This work is the personal and collective experience of being Deaf and trying to fit into a hearing world. To make sense of this place we must constantly chase their lips, read them, interpret them and try to include ourselves. There lies our strength, resilience and a willingness to involve ourselves in the conversation. An ongoing fight to exist.
